Chapter 4 – A New Beginning

Chapter 4 – A New Beginning

Six months later...

The old Bennett mansion stood empty.

Its gates were locked.

A "For Sale" sign rested quietly at the entrance.

Across town, Isabella stood before the newly opened Bennett Foundation for Entrepreneurship, an organization dedicated to helping young innovators build honest businesses.

Journalists gathered around her.

One reporter asked the question everyone wanted answered.

"Ms. Bennett, after everything that happened... do you regret marrying Lucas?"

She smiled softly.

"For a long time, I believed failure meant losing someone who didn't love me."

She paused.

"Now I understand that failure would have been losing myself."

The audience applauded.

Not because she had reclaimed a company.

But because she had reclaimed her dignity.

As she stepped away from the podium, her assistant handed her a folder.

"Your next meeting is ready."

She glanced once toward the city skyline.

The past no longer defined her.

The betrayal had become a lesson.

The pain had become strength.

And the woman they once tried to erase...

Had become impossible to ignore.

Far away, Lucas watched the news from a small apartment.

For the first time in his life, there was no wealth, no influence, and no one left to blame.

Only the consequences of his own choices.

He quietly switched off the television.

Outside, the world moved forward.

So did Isabella.

The End.
