"How is she?"
Robert looked at him steadily.
"Khloe is stable."
"The baby is stable."
"The placental injury was caught in time."
Marcus exhaled with relief.
Robert's expression did not change.
"Now we need to discuss something else."
He placed a folder on the table.
Inside were printed still images from the surveillance footage.
"You told hospital staff your wife attacked Ms. Rossi."
Marcus said nothing.
"You delayed emergency treatment."
"You attempted to minimize a violent assault."
