Chapter 10: Home

Chapter 10: Home
One year later, the Carter family lived in a much smaller house.
There were no grand staircases.
No crystal chandeliers.
No servants.
Only laughter.
One snowy evening Emma looked up at Julian.
"Daddy?"
"Yes?"
"Are we rich?"
Julian smiled.
"We have each other."
Emma grinned.
"Then we're the richest family ever."
Claire reached for Julian's hand as Noah giggled nearby, wrapped in a blanket by the fireplace.
Julian looked around the room and realized something he had almost lost forever.
A family is not built by blood alone.
It is built by love, trust, and the courage to choose one another every single day.
The lies that had once threatened to destroy them had finally been uncovered.
And in their place, something stronger had grown.
May you like
A home where no child would ever again be left out in the cold.
The End.
