Police searched Eric's office.
Inside a locked drawer they found a voice recorder.
One conversation changed everything.
A voice calmly said,
"Once the boy is gone, Daniel won't survive the grief."
Another voice answered,
"Then we'll control everything."
The recording was enough to trigger multiple arrests.
As officers escorted the suspects away, Mara quietly packed her bag.
