One year later...

Their home looked completely different.

No shouting.

No fear.

Only laughter.

Noah proudly helped feed his little sister.

Emma returned to painting, something she had abandoned years earlier.

One evening she asked Mason,

"Do you ever regret choosing us over everything else?"

He smiled.

"I never chose between my family and success."

"I chose the people who made success worth having."

Outside, the evening sun settled behind the trees.

Inside, the dining table was filled with homemade food, children's laughter, and quiet gratitude.

Mason looked around the room and realized something important.

A house becomes a home not because of wealth, inheritance, or luxury...

...but because everyone inside feels safe, respected, and loved.
