As the marshals secured Victor's hands behind his back, he began shouting.
"This is ridiculous!"
"She belongs with me!"
The judge looked toward the frightened woman.
"Ma'am..."
"Are you able to continue with your petition?"
She nodded through tears.
"Yes, Your Honor."
Court staff quickly gathered the documents that had fallen across the hallway floor.
One clerk quietly spoke.
"Your Honor..."
"The security cameras cover this entire corridor."
Judge Brooks nodded.
"Preserve every recording."
Then another voice came from the waiting area.
"I saw everything."
It was the mother of the little boy.
"I'll testify."
A courthouse clerk stepped forward.
"So will I."
Then the security guard.
"And me."
Victor slowly looked around.
