Margaret walked to the display screen.
"Mr. Bennett's attorney stated that Mrs. Bennett made no contribution to Bennett Technologies."
She clicked the remote.
The first image appeared.
A faded notebook.
Every page was filled with handwritten software architecture diagrams and business planning notes.
"They're mine," Claire said quietly.
"I wrote them before the company existed."
Next came early patent drafts.
Business plans.
Emails showing Claire editing investor presentations through the night while Ethan attended meetings.
Then an old incorporation agreement.
The original share allocation listed both names.
Claire Bennett.
Ethan Bennett.
Margaret looked toward the judge.
"My client transferred her shares to her husband years ago."
Judge Whitmore frowned.
"Under what circumstances?"
Claire answered herself.
