PART 4 (FINAL)

PART 4 (FINAL)

The woman in white finally broke.

“I DID IT FOR SURVIVAL!” she shouted, voice cracking. “Your family was going to destroy me first!”

The rooftop froze harder than before.

Even the waitress stopped moving.

For a moment… something flickered in her expression.

Not anger.

Understanding.

Then disappointment.

“That’s what all of you say,” she replied quietly.

One of the bodyguards stepped forward.

“Ma’am, we have confirmation. The board is already voting.”

The woman in white spun around.

“What board?!”

The waitress raised one hand slightly.

And for the first time, the bodyguards stepped aside.

Not to let the woman escape.

But to reveal what was behind them.

A second line of people.

Executives.

Legal counsel.

And press photographers already waiting silently at the edge of the rooftop entrance.

The waitress looked at the shattered champagne glasses on the floor.

Then back at her former enemy.

“You wanted me to know my place,” she said.

A pause.

“I do.”

She stepped closer.

“And it’s not under you.”

The security doors opened behind them.

Camera flashes erupted.

And as the woman in white was escorted away—no longer shouting, only staring in disbelief—the waitress didn’t watch her leave.

She looked out over the city instead.

Then she quietly said:

“Let it all come back under my name.”

May you like

And for the first time that night…

no one argued.
