PART 3: THE MAN WHO LOST THE ROOM

PART 3: THE MAN WHO LOST THE ROOM
Security moved closer.
Not toward me.
Toward him.
Julian noticed that too.
Slowly.
“What are you doing?” he said sharply to Marcus. “I am the CEO of this company!”
Marcus didn’t even blink.
“Not anymore, sir.”
That word—
Sir—
hit harder than any accusation.
Bella finally let go of his arm completely.
A single step back.
Then another.
Julian turned toward her instantly.
“Stay where you are,” he ordered.
But she didn’t move closer.
She moved away.
That was when he realized.
He was alone.
I stepped closer until I was only a few feet from him.
“You wanted to bring her here tonight to humiliate your wife,” I said quietly.
A pause.
“But you forgot to check who was actually invited.”
Julian’s breathing changed.
Faster now.
Unstable.
“This is impossible,” he whispered.
I nodded slightly.
“Yes.”
Then I added:
“For you.”
The security team advanced.
Julian looked around the room desperately.
For allies.
For support.
For anyone.
But all he saw were faces turning away.
Avoiding him.
May you like
Rejecting him.
Erasing him.
