Several months later, sunlight poured through the mansion's windows.
The locked wing had been transformed into a peaceful library.
The servant uniforms were gone.
Every employee received fair contracts, counseling, and the freedom to choose whether to stay or leave.
Vivian and her accomplices stood trial, where the hidden recordings, Elena's diary, financial records, and years of surveillance evidence left little room for doubt.
Justice finally arrived.
Healing, however, took longer.
Elena often woke from nightmares, expecting to hear footsteps outside her locked door.
Each time, Alejandro simply held her hand and reminded her,
