CHAPTER II – THE RIDERS ARRIVE
The sound came first again.
But this time, it wasn’t one motorcycle.
It was several.
Then more.
Engines rolled in from both sides of the street, slowing as they reached the gate. One by one, riders dismounted. No shouting. No chaos. Just control.
Black vests. Subtle patches. Calm movements.
Not aggression.
Coordination.
The parents at the fence stepped back instinctively.
Someone whispered, “What is this…?”
A woman pulled her child closer. “This is not normal.”
The first biker finally turned slightly toward the crowd.
“Stay where you are,” he said calmly.
No threat in his voice.
Just certainty.
The teacher raised her phone. “We are calling the police—”
“They’re already coming,” he replied.
That stopped her.
