Chapter 10 – The Final Dance

Chapter 10 – The Final Dance

A year later, the ballroom hosted another charity gala.

Different owners.

Different guests.

Different music.

Amelia attended wearing a simple navy-blue dress.

No headlines.

No revenge.

No speeches.

Only peace.

A reporter approached.

"Were you trying to destroy the Ashcroft family?"

She looked across the dance floor where children laughed without fear.

"No."

"I wanted one thing."

"The truth."

"And sometimes..."

"The truth looks cruel..."

"...only because the lie was comfortable."

The orchestra began playing once again.

This time...

people danced freely.

Not because justice erased the past.

But because silence no longer controlled the room.

Amelia quietly walked toward the exit.

She never looked back.

She didn't need to.

The story had never been about revenge.

It had always been about giving the truth a chance to be heard.

The End.
