Vanessa called.

Finally, Andrew entered the ballroom.

"Andrew."

Andrew smiled genuinely.

Andrew turned back toward Vanessa one last time.
"There was a time when I would have given you everything."

"And now?"

Then he answered.

With that, he walked away.
Vanessa stood alone among hundreds of people.
