“Security audit. Full extraction. Every document tied to employment records for the last three years.”

Vivian’s smile tightened.

“You don’t have that authority inside my—”

“Inside our house,” he corrected.

A pause.

Then the first crack appeared.

Because upstairs, in Vivian’s private study, a hidden server system had already begun unlocking itself under Alejandro’s authentication.

Minutes passed.

Then his phone buzzed.

Once.

Twice.

Then a flood of notifications.

He opened the file.

And froze.

Elena saw his face change.

“Alex… what is it?” she whispered.

He didn’t answer.

Because the truth wasn’t a single crime.

It was a system.
