Ten minutes later...
The entire family sat silently inside the villa's living room.
The security footage played across the enormous television.
The first clip showed Emma walking slowly beside the pool, one hand resting on her pregnant belly.
She wasn't even looking at Sophia.
The second clip showed Sophia glancing around.
Checking whether anyone was watching.
Then...
She stepped forward.
Both hands shoved Emma squarely between the shoulders.
Emma had no chance.
She disappeared into the water instantly.
The room fell silent.
Someone gasped.
Another person covered their mouth.
Daniel never looked away from the screen.
When the footage ended, he quietly asked,
"Would anyone still like to call that an accident?"
Nobody answered.
Sophia burst into tears.
"I... I didn't mean..."
"You didn't mean for there to be cameras," Daniel replied.
Her husband stared at her in disbelief.
"You pushed a pregnant woman?"
Sophia collapsed onto the floor.
"I was angry..."
Emma looked at her.
"Angry enough to risk my baby's life?"
Police officers arrived moments later.
One officer watched the recording before placing handcuffs on Sophia.
"You are under arrest for aggravated assault and endangering the life of an unborn child."
As she was escorted outside, she screamed,
