Three months later, the divorce was finalized.
Emma asked for nothing beyond what the law provided.
She did not seek revenge.

Daniel resigned as CEO after the board concluded that his repeated abusive conduct had damaged the company's reputation and undermined confidence in his leadership.
Jonathan Reed attended the meeting quietly.
