No one laughed now.
No one even breathed properly.
Elena Carlisle stood still, the empty wine glass still in her hand.
Not shaking.
Not angry anymore.
Just… finished pretending.
Victor wiped his face slowly, eyes wide with disbelief rather than pain.

A chair scraped loudly somewhere in the VIP room.
