Chapter 3 – The Moment He Lost the Room

Chapter 3 – The Moment He Lost the Room
The officers stepped closer.
“Sir, you are under investigation for intellectual property theft, fraud, and workplace coercion.”
The word coercion hit harder than the rest.
Because this time, there was no audience left to laugh with him.
Only people watching.
Learning.
Realizing.
He shook his head violently.
“This is staged! She planned this!”
One of the screens changed again.
A message appeared:
LIVE AUDIT RECORDING – 18 MONTHS OF CORRUPTION
His voice echoed through the speakers.
Contracts being discussed.
People being silenced.
Names being removed from credits.
Every moment carefully preserved.
Not created.
Collected.
His security finally stepped back.
No one wanted to stand too close to him anymore.
The man who once demanded I be removed from his stage was now standing alone on it.
He looked at me again.
This time, his voice dropped.
“You wanted revenge.”
I shook my head.
“No.”
“I wanted proof.”
The handcuffs clicked.
Loud in the silence.
And somehow still not as loud as the room realizing they had applauded him for years without knowing what he was built on.
As they led him down the stage, he turned one last time.
The screen behind him froze on the same sentence he had shouted earlier:
YOU LIVING IS ALREADY A WASTE
But now, beneath it, another line appeared.
Not mine.
May you like
The system’s final output:
ACCOUNTABILITY IS NOT A PERFORMANCE. IT IS AN ENDING.
