CHAPTER 3: THE FINAL TRUTH

CHAPTER 3: THE FINAL TRUTH

The ceiling lights flickered violently.

A section of the floor opened beneath the counter—revealing a hidden access tunnel that had been sealed for years.

The boy stepped forward instinctively.

“Don’t go near that!” his mother shouted.

But he didn’t stop.

Because the badge was pulling him closer.

Like it remembered the way.

Behind him, the robbers suddenly turned on each other.

“We were set up!” one shouted.

“No—we were bait!” the other screamed back.

But neither mattered anymore.

The system had already decided who would survive.

The boy reached the tunnel entrance.

And then he heard it.

A voice.

Soft.

Weak.

Familiar.

“…you finally found it.”

His breath stopped.

From the darkness below, a figure stepped forward.

Wounded. Older. Barely recognizable.

But alive.

His father.

The boy whispered, shaking:

“Dad…?”

His father nodded slowly.

“I didn’t disappear… I was hidden.”

Outside, explosions echoed as unknown forces stormed the building.

Inside the bank, time collapsed into truth.

Everything—the robbery, the symbol, the badge—had all been a test.
