CHAPTER I – THE SCRATCH ON THE LUXURY CAR

CHAPTER I – THE SCRATCH ON THE LUXURY CAR

The rich man’s voice echoed across the street.

“You ruined my car!”

A polished black luxury vehicle stood in the middle of the road, a long scratch cutting through its side mirror. The boy, barely seven years old, stood beside it, holding a broken bicycle.

People gathered quickly, forming a circle of whispers and judgment.

“I’m sorry,” the boy said softly. “I didn’t mean to—your car was moving.”

The man laughed coldly. “Moving? Don’t lie to me. You think I was born yesterday?”

The boy shook his head, eyes wide with fear. “No, sir… I saw it rolling.”

The street fell silent for a second.

Then the boy added one more sentence.

“I used my bike to stop it… because there was a baby in its path.”

Everything stopped.

Even the man’s anger froze mid-air.
